Hello friends! If you know me well you know that I LOVE Dolly Parton — and I mean LOVE. Recently I was in Nashville on a work trip and had the opportunity to stay at The Graduate Hotel ! I have dreamed of staying at this hotel for so long after seeing many instagrams from their famous rooftop bar, “White Limozeen.”
The Graduate is located right in Midtown just a short stroll from Vanderbilt University. My older sister went to Vanderbilt so I grew up coming to Nashville to visit her, and I absolutely love that area. As soon as I walked into the lobby my eyes opened wide and my jaw dropped. Every little detail is done beautifully and so creatively. From the varying shades of pink, lots of velvet, mixed with chandeliers and portraits of Dolly Parton — aka my paradise!!
Every little detail of this hotel is so well done, from the lobby, to the hallways, to the rooms. The beds were luxurious and so comfortable. I loved the canopy aspect of the beds with portraits of amazing women hung above. My bed had the amazing Patsy Cline hung above! We were only in town for one night but we made sure to get a reservation at the infamous rooftop bar, White Limozeen. For my cocktail I ordered “Queen of the Rodeo” and for my meal I ordered the New York Strip Steak, both were absolutely delicious. The check out their menu to plan your meal before you go click here.
I’ve loved Dolly Parton since middle school. I always found when I was in a melancholy mood that I always gravitated to Dolly’s music. Her music and her bright/cheerful spirit always lifted me up. I love how she never apologizes for being herself and is 100% genuine. Also her hair and style are just fabulous. Seeing portraits of her all over the place, in addition to the insane statue of her on the roof, made me so happy! I did ask our waiter if she had ever been to the hotel and sadly she has not since the hotel was opened during the pandemic, but he did say her nephew has been!
Overall our stay was incredible and I am hoping to go back and take more advantage of the whole hotel!
